The Stony Fork Creek Campground is owned and operated by Randy and Bridget Grim and their two children, Tyler and Randi Lyn. As avid campers themselves, they are committed to providing a quality camping experience for customers.

brcloseThe Grims first came to the area while on a family vacation to the Pine Creek Gorge (also known as "Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon"). They came with their children to ride the bike trail in the canyon, hike the Turkey Path, and sightsee and tour the area. When they first saw the campground nestled in a beautiful Pennsylvania valley, in Randy's words, "We fell in love with the place." For many years, they had wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and leave the rat race behind. They realized that the campground had tremendous potential and that they could meet the challenge of providing a campground with the same features they look for when they camp themselves-- clean and well-maintained facilities, a pool, and large lots with room for RV's and campers to move around.

Randy is out on the grounds from dawn to dusk every day working to make the campground look the way he imagined it when they first saw it. He spends most of his time mowing, doing upkeep and repairs, and making improvements to the grounds and facilities, but also enjoys providing hayrides for children on summer evenings. Randy has extensive experience working with people, from his 25 years selling products to steel mills, to owning a bar for 13 years, to building and owning a mobile home park for 20 years. The Grims also enjoyed farming for five years.

You'll see Bridget in the office; she also is the person with the friendly voice on the phone when you call to make reservations. In addition to her office duties, Bridget organizes children's activities, potluck dinners, and manages the campground store. She was an educational aide prior to moving to the area and, because of her love of children, she continues to substitute as an elementary educational aide in the Wellsboro Area School District.

In fact, everyone in the family seems to enjoy what they are doing. As Randy says, "One of the best parts of this job is that you meet a lot of nice people from all walks of life."

The Stony Fork Creek Campground is a great place to visit. Come for a fun and relaxing camping experience. Randy, Bridget, Tyler, and Randi Lyn look forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy your stay.
